this past week

dada got a playstation and he has a car game that you love to watch him and i play. and we don't play very often, but you cannot take your eyes off of watching the cars races on the TV. you go "OH NO!" every time we total a car. I can't tell if it bothers your, upsets you, or you think it is so interesting. so we stopped letting you see it for now.

spent a lot of time this weekend in the backyard. we went to the next door neighbors house to see David, and he yelled at you and you cried and cried.

you also go down the slide at the ark now and you love that. especially the spiral slide.

you love eating he raisins out of trail mix.

you are finally going to bed at night without crying when we lay you down. that makes me feel so much better.


you can say uite a few words now. apple, juice, doggie, kitty, cookie. you will try to say a word if i ask you too. the other day when i went to daycare to get you, "if you're happy and i you know it" was playing on the stereo, and they naed all these body parts to touch if you're happy and you touched your ears, and toes, etc and were dancing around,and then you saw me and stopped.

tonight you got your first piggyback ride on me and loved it. you did not want to stop. but gwez- it's hard running around the house with you on my back.

you ask for cookies all the time now, so we started giving you crackers instead and still call them cookies. you don't notice a difference. then once we gave you peppered crackers- the ones tom and i don't like, but come in the bulk pack- and you refer them. so that solves that problem!

you also try to sing your abcs now. it is so sweet. you sort of get abc, then mumble until h,i mumble, j k, mumble for the rest. if i ask you so sing them, you just muble a little song, but it s so sweet. you bring a book to me all the time to read to you and it is the alphabet and we sing looking at the pages. i can flip the pages and you will sing.

last week tom asked you if you wanted to eat in french. you didn't seem to want to , and then he sad "no mange." and you replied "no mange". clear as day. wow.

we've also discovered that you can speak 10 -20 word in romanian. baba is one you say a lot except baba in romanian means "snack" and here it means bottle, so i am not sure what the heck you are asking for anymore when you say baba. abba means water, and you say that all the time, and it finally akes sense to me. AMOOH is word you say any time you want something. it means nothing to anyone but you- and now us- because whenever you point to something and say ammoh we will get it for you.

you're obsessed with toy cars. obsessed. you wake up in the morning, fuss, i come get you, you make me get all the blankets out of your bed, and 3 teddy bears, we and all the bears and blankets go into my bed, where we have a bottle, and then as soon as you are finished with the bottle you say "CARS?". then i give you a couple cares, and then you get out of my bed, and pull on my finer saying "UP", until i get up, and you drag me by the finger to your box of toy cars in the living room. an hour or so later when we take you to daycare you take one car in each hand with you, and then a the end of the week, luiza gives them all back to me. what a routine!
