you are having way too much fun these past few weeks.
2 weekends ago we were in florida for britty's wedding. you come to life when there are a lot of people around. you spent most of your time by the water spicket near the pool. filling up tupperware with water and then spilling them out. you also played with ava, lyla, and charlie.
ava had a tmper tantrum on the day after the wedding, who could blame her? i was so tired i am almost had one too. nana, gail, lisa, jenny AND amy were all trying to console ava whil you and i were tying to take a nap. after 5 minutes enough was enough, so i went out and sggested to ava that we should have a teddy bear party- me her and jude- in my bed. she insisted that that did not mean we were going to sleep. i said we were just going to play. in bed, she was happy again- and you were imitating all these words she was saying. being around older kids, you learn so much.
on the night of the rehersal dinner it poured rain and you and lyla played in the water coming down the gutter for hours.
charly eats suckers all the time, and you got some in florida too. when you had your first one you said "mama! mama!" and just tried to put in my mouth. you were amazed that these wonderful tasting things existed and wanted to show me all about it. it was a nice reminder that i have to get some of those for the flight to europe!
these days you can say yellow, it's a car, it's a ...., you can say bonjour, aureviour, encore.
you think encore is - AGAIN. but it is also getting on your dad's back and him bouncing you around like a rodeo horse.
it's hot outside, and we play WATERBALLONS! i fill them up, and you throw them on the ground. very simple, but you have so much fun. you have the empty water balloons in an open sippy cup and you carry them around the house to save them to use later. you also found out there are popsicles in the freezer and beg by the frdge dorr for them if i open the freezer at all.
You are totally OCD. you line your cars up in perfect rows. that was the first sign. you flip out if we take them out of line. that was the second sign. the final straw was that when i get out the box of crayon, you do not color with them. you line them up in one long perfect line. at least someone is going to be orderly in this house!
